The proposed changes to the new standards are intended to help food producers cope with the difficulties of paper, cardboard and other raw material shortages.
According to media sources, the request is currently being evaluated by a number of government agencies, including the Russian Federal Agency for Technical Supervision and Metrology (Rosstandart), the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture.
It is estimated that packaging prices in the Russian market have increased by 40 to 50 percent since late February 2022. #Pe Coated Paper Sheet
